- Welcome to Swanson's Stars! Let me tell you a little about myself. I am 36 years old, and I have lived in La Fayette for 15 years. I have been married for 12 years and have 2 boys that attend Gilbert Elementary. I graduated High School from Collinsville High and received my bachelors and masters degree in education from Jacksonville State University. I am also a HUGE Alabama football fan. ROLL TIDE! I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade this year.
